Android ICS Update Available For Samsung Galaxy S II

Finally android's latest Ice Cream Sandwich version is available for Samsung Galaxy S II. Quite interesting right? From their previous firmware,Gingerbread,it has far better performance. Most of the Samsung Galaxy Smartphones support upgradable firmaware. Which means,if your gadget has a lower version or outdated one,you can easily upgrade to atleast android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Gmail in ICS now have has two-line previews, an action bar atthe bottom, offline search and gesture support which lets the userview different emails by swiping accross the screen.

ICs comes with a look and UI that is very streamlined and polished.

The default browser in ICS now supports up to 16 tabs. Chrome bookmarks are now automatically synced while web pages can be saved offline for later viewing.

Widgets are now placed neatly in a new tab and they're listed in a similar way to apps.
